We are less than a month away from the New Year and with that in mind we start planning and setting goals hopeful that 2013 will be bigger and better.

In addition to those expectations, we’re excited to announce that Salt Lake’s Premier Wedding Show will happen on January 19 2013 at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the Lion House – and because we all love countdowns, our blog will keep you in the loop with our special “15 Posts to Salt Lake’s Premier Wedding Show”!

How will it be?

We’ll post three times a week on our blog about the major researched wedding topics (dresses, colors, arrangements, invitations, etc.) and we’ll have a bonus post the week of the Wedding Show.

Why is that?

Despite popular belief, planning a wedding doesn’t have to be stressful, it can be really fun! We’re here to help you be on the right track, knocking on the right doors and making the most of it. By writing about these topics, we hope that you get inspired and even more excited about your big day.

Winter weddings are beautiful at Temple Square. They resonate a very elegant, quiet beauty. The Joseph Smith Memorial Building makes for a perfectly gorgeous reception venue afterward. Thanks to Ravenberg Photography for capturing the beauty of this wedding, and thanks to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building Event Coordinators and Catering for creating such a fabulous reception!

How do they do it? Our guests are always bringing in new and fun ways to celebrate their weddings. At a recent wedding reception, the couple created these “sweet” little bride and groom favors, using frosting and large bubblegum balls. They set them by the name cards at each plate.  It is too bad that we do not have time to post all of the great favors and ideas that pass through here.

This stunning couple had their reception in The Joseph Smith Memorial Building Empire Room, a wedding luncheon in The Garden Restaurant and Gorgeous pictures through out Temple Square. Absolutely breath taking.
