Another beautiful wedding at The Lion House Gardens! This couple had a gorgeous foliage arch, accenting the wonderful gardens around the entire vicinity. Great idea, perfect setting!

“Josiah and I met through a friend of ours at the climbing gym. We went climbing several times in a group then just by ourselves which ended up turning into a date. Josiah and I had this great rapport and were in near constant communication from the time we started dating. He proposed on Memorial day at the place we first kissed. He was studying for the bar during most of our engagement but despite that was very helpful in planning our wedding.

Once we decided on the Salt Lake temple, I knew I wanted to have our dinner at the Lion House. I’d been to a friend’s wedding luncheon years before at the Lion House and loved it. It didn’t hurt that it was my mother-in-law’s favorite restaurant either. We also had a lovely ring ceremony outdoors prior to our dinner upstairs. The whole style of the Lion House is elegant, understated Victorian and the room was very lovely. As always, the food was fabulous. I’m a huge fan of the rolls! It was great to be able to relax and just enjoy the moment with loved ones.”
