Part-time position, about 30 hours per week. Primarily decorates pies. Monday through Saturday with various days off.. Shifts starts at 4:00 AM. To comply with Department of Labor regulations employees must be 18 years of age or older to operate bakery equipment. Neat and clean in appearance, able to communicate in English with employees, able to move 70 pounds, good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity, must abide by Temple Square Hospitality Corporation’s 100% smoke-free policy. Previous baking experience preferred. $8.00 an hour, free meal, uniform.

Room Cleaner (The Inn at Temple Square) JOB 3009

Part-time job. Cleans guest rooms. Moderate guest contact. Must be willing to work any day of the week, including Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Applicants must be available to work most Saturdays and Sundays. Well groomed, able to communicate in good spoken English with employees and guests, able to stretch, push supply truck, and move 30 pounds, not sensitive to cleaning chemicals, must abide by Temple Square Hospitality Corporation’s 100% smoke-free policy. Experience as a room cleaner preferred. Free meal, uniform. $7.75 an hour. Wage of $8.75 an hour for Saturday and Sunday work.

Wedding Hostess (JSMB) POSITION 3111

On-call position. Hosting wedding receptions, and assisting brides. Various days Monday through Saturday, mostly evening shifts. Must be available at 4:00 PM. Busy months are May, June, August, and December. Possesses a high degree of maturity, experience, and self-confidence to be able to assist brides and their families in stressful situations. We’ve found that this usually requires several years’ experience doing similar work. Meticulous and elegant grooming; pleasant manner and attitude; able to communicate with guests in excellent English; able to move graciously and speedily; outstanding interpersonal skills required! Must be female because of personal assistance given brides. Able to move light furniture up to 40 pounds. Must abide by Temple Square Hospitality Corporation’s 100% smoke-free policy. $8.00 an hour.

The Summer season runs from April to August. Apply in early April for the positions we might have. Interviews are in late April or early May. These jobs are temporary.

Seasonal Employment

These are positions available beginning in September. Apply by the end of July or early August. These jobs are not temporary. They are usually replacing people that are going back to school.

These positions are usually banquet servers, which is our biggest need. The hours vary but are generally from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 10:00 or 11:00 PM. A person would work 3 or 4 times a week depending on business. No experience is needed, but experience working with the public is very helpful.
